Cockatoo Bird And Grapes.
This is a very pretty antique (1920s) marigold carnival glass wall vase featuring the pattern "Cockatoo Bird and Grapes." The vase is unmarked and has been attributed by some to Imperial Glass of Bellaire, Ohio, circa 1920s (see ddoty), but that's still up for debate.

The iridescence is strong. The pattern is well articulated.
There are, naturally, some internal air bubbles and "straw marks" (shearing tool marks) commonly associated with the hand crafting of old carnival and opalescent glass. This makes each piece of carnival glass is unique and "one of a kind."
... a nice find and would look great alongside any Northwood, Dugan, Fenton, Westmoreland, Millersburg, Imperial, Sowerby, Inwald, Riihimaki, or other antique glass from the makers of fine carnival and opalescent glass.
