2x CARNIVAL glass IMPERIAL #41 COLONIAL column CANDLESTICKS octagon MARIGOLD

Description

Offered for sale is a PAIR of lovely carnival glass CANDLESTICKS for taper candles.  They were made by Imperial Glass, and the pattern is Imperial's Colonial, which is their pattern #41.  This pattern is sometimes called Delta Base.  They have paneled sides and octagonal bases.  The candlesticks are made of clear glass with a bright shiny marigold (orange) iridescent finish.  The marigold color extends almost all the way down to the bottom of the bases.  This pattern dates to the 1920s.
Each candlestick stands 7 inches (17.8cm) tall, and measures 3 7/8 inches (9.8cm) wide at the base.  A U.S. quarter is shown in the pictures to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance.
They are in excellent condition with no cracks, scratches, discoloration or repairs.  There is minimal wear to the marigold finish at the edges of the panels, and ONE candlestick has a tiny chip on the bottom (picture 3).  Price includes BOTH candlesticks.
