This item in my EBAY store is an IMPERIAL  "DIAMOND LACE"  AMETHYST CARNIVAL GLASS LARGE HANDLED WATER PITCHER.   This IMPERIAL "DIAMOND LACE" large handled amethyst water pitcher is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age is now a beautiful family heirloom, this IMPERIAL "DIAMOND LACE" water pitcher is just the way this water pitcher left the IMPERIAL GLASS COMPANY out of the big state of Ohio many years ago, this IMPERIAL pitcher is in excellent condition having no chips, cracks, scratches, and NO glass staining;   I may also add that this IMPERIAL  "DIAMOND LACE"  AMETHYST CARNIVAL GLASS LARGE HANDLED WATER PITCHER is an early IMPERIAL vintage antique glass "DIAMOND LACE" pitcher that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition, surely the couple of people who have once owned this beauty surely cherrished this "DIAMOND LACE" pitcher according to the condition this pitcher remains in today;   There are NO heat checks anywhere around the top or at the bottom where this handle was pressed into the glass mold pattern, also at the top of this pitcher as you can see is a jagged serrated edge that also has NO damage either;   The carnival iridescence is the satin finish on the inside of this pitcher that can be seen in the photos;   You can see here the iridescence is at IMPERIAL'S best,..........COLOR, COLOR, COLOR, and like I've always said, a china closet full of IMPERIAL dark amethyst carnival glass will NOT take a back seat to any of the other company's dark carnival glass (my opinion of course);   This "DIAMOND LACE" pitcher that I have here is from the early vintage years of IMPERIAL GLASS and naturally this pitcher here being a vintage pitcher is NOT marked by a trade mark by the IMPERIAL GLASS COMPANY.   You can see this highly collected "DIAMOND LACE" pattern in one of my many reference materials, one is a hard back book by "Edwards & Carwile" a book on carnival glass, the "STANDARD ENCYCLOPEDIA of CARNIVAL GLASS 7th EDITION, on page #103;   I've taken numerous (all) photos outside in natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles & positions to show pattern, COLOR, condition, carnival glass iridescence, & size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.   When using a cell phone or mobile device please click on "see full description" to see more photos and measurements;   Insurance is bought at the USPS at the time of shipment to you, the cost is .25 for the shipping and .75 for the insurance, ANY OVER PAID SHIPPING COST WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU THE BUYER;   All stickers on MY IMPERIAL  "DIAMOND LACE"  amethyst carnival glass large handled water pitcher sent to you must remain on MY IMPERIAL  "DIAMOND LACE"  amethyst carnival glass large handled water pitcher
